They're dead again, finally!
Type o Negative's new record "Dead Again" was released a few days ago and I got my copy this morning from the parcel service. Since then I'm listening to it without a break and the only word that describes it best is "great" ...
It is less doomy than the last ones and much faster just as in their old days. I also thought about which song to mention here as the best one in my opinion but it's simply impossible to say. All songs are equally great and have their own atmosphere and brilliance although their stile isn't really comparable among each other. You can listen to some songs of the record here. I can't wait to see them live at the Graspop again with the new stuff.
Last week Emmy and I were at the Nine Inch Nails concert in Cologne and it was a real good show. Trent had a good mixture of songs from all their records. Their light show was great even though the Palladium was to small for a beamer. I didn't believe that one could make such a great thing out of "some" lights and synthetic fog. Trent also held a speech about their first visit to Germany ever. You can find it here. Believe me, it is worth watching :-)
